Authentic Glass Bottom Ferries
Líneas Blue Bird offers you a Regular Marine Transport in the southwestern coast of Gran Canaria, connecting the ports of Arguineguín, Anfi del Mar, Puerto Rico and Mogán. You will be able to visit the different localities of the south of the island sailing comfortably, enjoying the sun and the sea breeze, whilst contemplating the view of the cliffy coast of Gran Canaria. In the journey between Mogán and Puerto Rico we will make a brief stop in our sailing in order to observe the marine wildlife with our glass bottom ferries.
You will be able to choose from a wide offer of departure times from each of the ports. We carry out a total of 48 daily departures.
One-way tickets and more economic two-way tickets are available, if you wish to do both journeys, and with an open return time, so you can choose the most convenient time throughout the day. Furthermore, if the journey chosen includes intermediate stops, you will be able to get off the ferry and get another one in posterior departures, continuing this way your journey and visiting more than one destination with the same ticket. Organize your routes with total freedom!
Our fleet, formed by 5 glass bottom ferries, with a total capacity of 1.049 seats, will allow you to enjoy safe and comfortable sailing, specially if you do sail aboard one of our 3 catamarans, vessels that stand out for their greater stability and capacity, against the monohull ferries. All our boats are provided with submarine vision due to their glass bottoms. Between them, we have the glass bottom catamaran of greatest capacity of the Canary Islands.
More than 40 years sailing in Gran Canaria
A couple of years later, with the acquisition of the boat that would give name to the business, the “Blue Bird”, we started the Beach Party excursion, with departure from Puerto Rico and getting off at Cala del Perchel, where our customers enjoyed an unforgettable day in a creek nearly unaccesible by land.
This trip was performed for decades, simultaneously with brief excursions through the coast with stops for bathing, to what now known as Puerto de Mogán, in construction then, with the boats Blue Bird, Alegranza and Blue Bird II.
In July 1998 the Regular Marine Transport service was initiated, between the ports of Puerto Rico and Mogán.
